"View of Forest Lawn from Marsh Park" was painted in March of 2016. The large building up on the hill is Forest Lawn's Hall of the Crucifixion-Resurrection. Between Forest Lawn and the LA River is the 2 Freeway. We usually get interesting skies over the LA Basin this time of year. The rushes and reeds growing along the banks show signs of a recent rain and resulting rush of water. Marsh Park, Los Angeles River, March 2016.
