Fallen Slabs, Valley of Fire

This Valley of Fire Campground has campsites situated along a massive rock outcropping. The huge slabs separated from the red rock mass and remain where they fell, the main feature in this campsite. The big bold shapes and strong reflected light creates a dynamic composition that is contrasted by the quiet vista beyond. March Paint Out 2013
