What luck to find a side road off the highway overlooking the beautiful, meandering Sevier River. A lush pasture beyond the desert river, sunlit sand and sage, and brilliant sky reflecting off slow moving water. And the time to stop and paint. Hot day. My shade umbrella required frequent adjustment and demonstrated its "lift off" feature in wind gusts. (It helps to have well-designed equipment.)
