"The Fire Pit" (12x16 Oil) was painted at a friend's home during this summer's visit to Canada. In fact, I did two paintings from her deck facing opposite directions. The weathered building on the bluff is the retired Fisherman's Center. The two chairs and the fire pit tell a universal story: enjoying the evening wherever it finds you.
