"View From the Olive Grove" (12x16 Oil) Last year I painted 'Path to the Olive Grove' (9x12 posted Sept. 2018). This year I chose to paint the opposite view. The olive groves of Highland Springs are extensive and impressive, and form the eastern boundary of the central lavender field. This painting from the shady olive grove looks out across the sunlit lavender. To the right of the left-hand tree is a bush I also painted last year, "Lavender Headdress" (8x10 posted September 2018.) Highland Springs Resort, Cherry Valley, CA  June 2019
