"Poppy Parade" (14" x 18" Oil on Panel) was painted mid-April during this year's super bloom. While painting along a main road, a local resident recommended a nearby dirt road for a spectacular display of poppies and other wildflowers. Spectacular indeed! While painting, it reminded me of the rose parade that includes many flowers. Lancaster, CA. April 2019
