This plein air painting features the elongated piers of the Los Feliz Blvd. Bridge. Seagulls claim the high ground and other birds feed along the shallow apron below. The piers were draped with organic debris from the September rain and runoff. Beyond is the upstream entry ramp to the Baum Bicycle Bridge; below in the shade one can see the homeless' shopping carts.  The pier shadows on the water and the interesting lines of the bridge structures beckoned.
