The Blue Boat

"The Blue Boat" 9" x 12" Oil on Panel  This fishing boat belongs to a local resident. Cod season was over, most of the boats had been pulled, and the blue boat had the wharf to herself. This cove gets hammered by winter storms. Paintings from previous years show different breakwater constructs that didn't fare well. The yellow boat above the loading ramp was prominent in last year's painting, "Rockin' On Water." Flatrock, Newfoundland, September 2018.
